01 · The backyard

The backyard you won't
want to leave.

The pool is heated every day of the year. The putting green stays lit after dark, so the round doesn’t end at sunset. Everything else back here, the cabana, the fire pit, the hammocks, the cornhole boards, is for whoever gets bored of floating first.

Pool, green and cabana

Salt water instead of chlorine, warm every day of the year.

The lanai

Screened on every side, so evenings out here come without mosquitoes. The fan handles August.

Putters by the green

Four holes to play, with putters in every color and the balls to match. Clubs can stay home.

Fire pit

Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, and marshmallows if somebody remembers to buy them.

02 · Inside

A newly remodeled interior,
made for sleeping in.

The inside is quiet on purpose. Pale oak floors, white walls, furniture you can actually sit on. Three bedrooms hold five beds and eight people, and the sliding doors to the lanai stay open most of the day.

Sleeping
Five beds across three bedrooms: a king and a queen air mattress in the primary, a queen in the second, two singles in the third. That’s eight people without unfolding the couch.
Bathrooms
Two. One opens off the primary bedroom, the other has a tiled walk in shower. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and all linens are provided.
Living
Open living and dining, a 52 inch TV with Roku, and sliding doors straight out to the screened lanai.
Kitchen
Full kitchen with stainless appliances and enough dishes, glasses and utensils that nothing needs buying.
Working
A desk under the window beside the second table, with high speed wifi through the house.
Laundry
Washer and dryer in the house, free to use.
Parking
Two cars in the driveway.
Check-in
A keypad on the door, so you let yourself in any time between 4 PM and midnight. Checkout is 10 AM.
Living room

The 52 inch TV runs Roku, so your own logins travel with you. Sliders open straight to the lanai.

Kitchen

Stocked for a full house: dishes, cookware and a coffee station, with nothing to buy on night one.

Bedroom one

A king with the en suite bath through the door, and a queen air mattress if you need the extra bed.

Bathrooms

Soap, shampoo, conditioner and all linens are provided. Towels for the beach live in the garage.

03 · The area

Minutes to downtown
& the Gulf ’s best beaches.

The house sits in a quiet part of town, a quick ride to downtown Dunedin and its restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. The Gulf beaches are a short drive up or down the coast, and the bikes in the garage cover most of what is closer than that.

  1. Downtown Dunedin The shops, and the waterfront at the end of town. A short drive from the door.
  2. The Pinellas Trail The paved trail runs through town, and there are two bikes in the garage.
  3. Honeymoon Island Gulf beach and dune trail, about 10 minutes by car.
  4. TD Ballpark Blue Jays spring training, with the Phillies playing nearby. About 5 minutes.
  5. Clearwater Beach About 25 minutes down the coast.
  6. Indian Rocks Beach About 30 minutes south.
  7. Safety Harbor A small downtown on the far side of the peninsula, about 20 minutes.
  8. St. Pete and Tampa Roughly 35 minutes either way.
  9. The Orlando theme parks About 90 minutes each way.
Colorful umbrellas strung over the downtown Dunedin sidewalk on a sunny day, palm trees and shopfronts along the street.
